The test was conducted at the Department of Asian, Middle Eastern and Turkish Studies of Stockholm University and is arranged by The NPO Stockholm Association of Japanese Language Proficiency Test (https://sajp.info/).

Of 78 applicants 65 people took the actual test. Apart from examinees from Sweden, there were also participants from Finland and Norway, Latvia, and Slovakia.

SAJP hopes to make this an annual event on the first Sunday in July every year.

JLPT is an officially recognized language test organized by the Japan Foundation to evaluate and certify the Japanese language proficiency of non-native speakers. The test is divided in five levels, from beginners (N5) to advanced (N1).
