Insect Science Net at Stockholm University (ISN@SU)

Stockholm University is unique due to a high concentration of groups that use insect models for their research. Research in Insect Science at SU includes projects in ecology, evolution, neurobiology, developmental biology, physiology and immunology. This leads to an extremely wide range of expertise, which is found in very few places elsewhere.

The Insect Science Net is not a physical entity but comprises all the groups at Stockholm University that work on insects. The goal of the network is to fully exploit the impact of insect science by promoting research and teaching across disciplines.

Collaborations are inplace between several groups within the network, both at the research and teaching level. In addition to our international collaborations this setting offers unique opportunities for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers.
