Physiology

Welcome to Candidate course in Molecular Physiology15 credits from the 31 of October 2012 until the 13th of January 2013

The course will give you deeper insight into basic physiology like e.g. neurophysiology, excretion and endocrinology. It will also take up more advanced areas like e.g. signal transduction, obesity and newborns thermal control. A part of the course is to try and answer a research question in an ongoing project at the department together with another student, under the supervision of a PhD student.

This course is suitable for both a biologist and a molecular biologist. The course will give you a good platform for later work in e.g. pharmacological research and product development.

Qualifications: Chemistry 30 credits including :7,5 credits Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology 30 credits, Physiology 15 credits (excluding non animal option).

Another alternative, Chemistry 60 credits and at least 15 credits in Biochemistry or Molecular life sciences.

The course consists of four parts:
- Basic Physiology
- Advanced Physiology
- Applied Physiology
- Labstations and Own Lab Project
