History
Skära villan was built around 1817 and is the oldest building in the central parts of Frescati. It was originally a residence for workers and janitors at the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture, and was meant to be one of two similar wings to the planned, but not yet built, Bloms hus. The current decorative woodwork was added in the 1870s.
