Academic ceremonies
Each year, Stockholm University arranges a ceremony of conferment of doctor's degrees, an inauguration of new professors and two ceremonies of conferment of master's degrees.
Conferment of Doctoral Degrees
The ceremony of Conferment of Doctoral Degrees and Inauguration of New Professors take place in the Blue Hall of the Stockholm City Hall in September.
Honorary Doctorates and Jubilee Doctorates will also be conferred during this ceremony and pedagogical prizes and the Stockholm University gold medals will be presented.
Conferment of Master's Degrees
The Conferment of Master's Degrees is held twice a year, in May and in October, in Aula Magna, Frescati.
