The awarding of an honorary doctorate is an expression of the University's appreciation of outstanding contributions in one or more of the University's areas of academic activity.
Stockholm University is awarding a number of honorary doctorates 2011. The honorary doctoral degrees will be conferred at Stockholm University's traditional ceremony at City Hall on Friday September 30, 2011.
