Vision and Aims 2008

By 2015 the majority of our teaching and research programmes will be nationally outstanding and internationally prominent – these are the keywords from Vice-Chancellor Kåre Bremer's preface to the newly produced Vision and Aims 2008 brochure.

The University Board together with the Vice-Chancellor has worked together to produce both a long-term plan and a yearly operational plan, which create the foundation for the future growth and expansion of the University’s operations. The plans have been succinctly summarised in a new brochure, Vision and Aims 2008, which presents an overview of Stockholm University's vision, essential values and central aims. The formulation of these objectives is based on the long-term plan for 2008-2012, as well as the operational plan for 2008, which was formally accepted by the University Board at a meeting in December 2007. The document published now online will guide the ongoing development of the University’s operations over the coming years.

The Vision and Aims 2008 brochure is available for download in PDF format (see link below).
