The police have reinforced surveillance of specific places, people and buildings. Campus Frescati, Stockholm University, has a lot of people visiting daily and is therefore one of the public places where police visibility will be noticed during the weekdays.

The Section for Safety and Security at the University monitors the development and assesses whether additional security measures will be taken, for example during larger events. Decisions are made based on current information and recommendations from the Police, the Swedish Security Service (SÄPO) and Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB).

Stockholm University security personnel are as usual on campus around the clock and have sharpened their attention for things that stand out in the usual environment. Students and staff can notify adverse events to the security personnel, phone number 08-16 42 00 (around the clock).

You can also call the University's number 08-16 11 55, which is monitored, but without caller ID, to leave anonymous tips.

Changes in the security situation will be communicated at su.se.
