Delayed influenza vaccination for staff (week 49)

The vaccination of staff at Stockholm University against the new influenza has once more been postponed and will now not take place as planned during week 49 (week beginning Monday 30 November). Changes in the vaccination schedule are a result of the fact that health care providers Avonova have not received the required vaccine doses.

The vaccination of staff at Stockholm University against the new influenza (swine flu) was due to begin on Monday 30 November. However all vaccination due to take place this week must now be postponed. The reason for this delay is that Stockholm County Council have not been able to supply the required vaccines to health care providers Avonova, who have been engaged to manage the vaccination of staff at the University.

Vaccination times now being cancelled – Konradsberg (30 November), Sveaplan (1 December), Kista (2 December) and Frescati (3-4 December) – are to be postponed; as yet no new dates have been set.

Further information will be forthcoming when available. See www.su.se/english/about/news-and-events.
