New guide to lunch venues at the University

Where’s the best food on campus? Where should you go if your wallet is a bit empty? And where should you go if you’re allergic to certain types of food? After intensive research on the part of personnel, a new online guide has been published on the University's international website.

The guide, in the form of a table containing information on pricing, what’s included, and the kind of food available, e.g. fish, meat or vegetarian options, is intended to help staff and students help their way around the cafés and restaurants at the University's campuses.

Around ten staff members visited the various restaurants and cafés mentioned in the table during late November, noted prices, and other information.

In association with the publication of the lunch guide, the maps page for the Frescati campus area has been updated with new maps showing symbols for the cafés and restaurants, making it easier for visitors to locate these venues.

The guide was originally published in the University's staff magazine, Universitetsnytt, at the end of 2009, and is now available in English for the first time.
