New student exchange agreement with University of Vermont, USA
Recently a new university-wide agreement was signed with the University of Vermont (UVM) that will enable the bilateral exchange of undergraduate students. Vermont is highly ranked among national public universities in the USA and is considered one of the most environmentally responsible schools there.
Founded in 1791, Vermont is the fifth oldest university in New England (after Harvard, Yale, Dartmouth and Brown). Total enrollment is 13,400 students, with undergraduates accounting for slightly more than 10,000 of them. UVM has seven undergraduate schools and colleges, offering 100 bachelor's programs, five pre-professional options, and a Graduate College offering 54 master's and 22 doctoral programs.
Located in Burlington, Vermont (perennially voted one of America's most exciting small cities), UVM's setting is in a valley on the shores of Lake Champlain, between the Adirondack and the Green mountain ranges.
