Reduce the risk of theft

In recent weeks the University's Security Unit has received many complaints concerning theft. Most of the thefts have occurred in connection with unguarded wardrobes or from offices. In order to prevent this kind of theft from occurring you should be extra alert.

To reduce the risk of theft follow the points below:

• Do not leave valuables in jackets or bags unattended in wardrobes
• If you leave your office always lock the door behind you
• Never leave your laptop unattended
• Do not let in people you don´t know through doors that are equipped with card readers.

If you are a victim of a theft within the University campus you should contact Thomas Hårberger at the Security Unit, who will make a record of your details and report the matter to the police.
