Rules and policies

Activities at Stockholm University are regulated by law. These laws and regulations are expressed in the form of various steering documents, rules and guidelines, authorised by the University Board and the University Executive Committee. The legislation that forms the basis for regulations that is the Higher Education Act and the Higher Education Ordinance, which are both available in English on the home page of the Swedish National Agency for Higher Education.

The University has a wide variety of attractive profile products – clothing, pens, mugs, and so on, decorated with the University's emblem. These items can be purchased at the University's supplies store, the SU-butiken.

The news and events page is updated regularly during term-time.

The maps page contains a dynamic overview map of the main Stockholm University campus area. Individual map pages are also available for the each of the University's locations, including downoadable maps in PDF format.

On this page you can find travel directions to Stockholm University. These directions apply to the main Frescati campus, located north of the city of Stockholm.

On or around the University campus there are numerous restaurants offering everything from sandwiches to Mexican tortillas, falafel as well as classic Swedish simple home cooking.

Campus parking charges

The parking fees on this page apply from April 1, 2009. Stockholm University's landlord, Akademiska hus, is responsible for car parks on the various campus sites.
