How to lodge an appeal
According to Swedish law, a party who is not satisfied with a decision concerning an appointment is entitled to lodge an appeal against it with The Board of Appeals for Higher Education (Överklagandenämnden för högskolan).
The appeal, in writing, should be addressed to The Board of Appeals but mailed to Stockholm University, Registrar, S-106 91 Stockholm, Sweden. The letter must reach the University no later than three weeks from the day on which the decision was made public on the University notice board. Otherwise the appeal cannot be assessed.
The complainant must state which decision he/she refers to and which amendment that is claimed.
No appeal may be lodged against a decision to appoint a person for a position as doctoral student (doktorand).
