Swedish Institute Study Scholarships

The Swedish Institute Study Scholarships (SISS) are awarded to students from selected countries for full-time master’s level studies in Sweden starting in the autumn semester 2018. The scholarships cover both living costs and tuition fees.

Visby Programme

The Visby Programme scholarships for academic and expert mobility within the Baltic Sea region, as well as scholarships for inbound and outbound mobility. The programme targets master’s students as well as PhD students, post-docs and senior scientists from Sweden, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, and Ukraine. Swedish-speaking students from Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine also have the opportunity to apply for scholarships for studies in any field/topic (courses taught in Swedish) at a university in Sweden.

Swedish-Turkish Scholarship Programme

The Swedish-Turkish Programme offers scholarships for citizens of Turkey for master’s level studies as well as for PhD studies and postdoctoral research in Sweden within the fields of Social Sciences, Law, International and European Relations, European Affairs, European Law, or Human Rights Law. The programme aims to forge closer links between Turkey and the EU, and to contribute to strengthened democracy and a greater respect for human rights.
