T-number is already generated for every student being accepted by Stockholm University.

Why do I need a T-number?

The T-number is an administrative number that is generated for you in order for Stockholm University to register you on courses, register results, etc.

What is a T-number and how do I get it?

Exchange students and international students receive a T-number in the administrative system LADOK. Exchange students receive their T-numbers from their host department at the University and international students can see the number on their notification of selection results on www.universityadmissions.se.

Can I use my T-number for anything outside Stockholm University?

No. The T-number is an administrative number that is generated for you in order for Stockholm University to register you on courses, register results etc.

How do I get a Swedish Identity number?

Students staying for more than one year should go to the Swedish Tax Office to apply for a Swedish Identity Number. A Swedish Identity Number entitles you health care and other benefits for the same price as locals. You can then update your T-number to your new Swedish personal identity number in LADOK by visiting Infocenter in Studenthuset on Universitetsvägen 2B, Campus Frescati.

For more information about the T-number and Swedish Tax Office please consult the presentation ''T-number, banking, insurance, residence permit and other'' that will be available here after Orientation Day the 25th of August, 2017.
