Coordinator for equal treatment of students

All students at Stockholm University are entitled to equal treatment and respect irrespective of sex, transgender identity or expression, ethnicity, religion or other belief, disability, sexual orientation or age. The coordinators assignment/mandate is based on the Swedish Discrimination Act of 2008. Questions regarding work environment and victimisation should be handled by the Department.

Andrum – a room for contemplation

Need to take a pause? 'Andrum', which means something like 'breathing space' in Swedish, is the name of a room for contemplation, open to all at Stockholm University irrespective of religion or creed. The 'Andrum' can be found at room E 407, in Södra huset, Frescati campus and is open between 8am and 8pm.

Plan for Equal Rights and Opportunities

Stockholm University makes an annual plan for equal rights and opportunities of students and prospective students. Equal rights and opportunities is a quality issue and a question of priority that is continously followed up. The plan includes actions for equal treatment, widening participation and accessibility.
