Idun

Exchange students and students who receive scholarship via Stockholm University Scholarship Scheme are eligible to rent these apartments. Idun is located in the city center, in an area called Vasastan. Idun was built in 1968 and is owned by SSSB. The building has 7 floors and 157 studio apartments, of which Stockholm University rents 84. The studio apartments are between 20,2-28,6 square meters. All the apartments have a private bathroom and private kitchenette.

Fjällis (Fjällräven)

Exchange students and master students who receive a scholarship via Stockholm University Scholarship Scheme are eligible to rent these apartments. Fjällis is located on Lidingö, which is one of many islands in Stockholm’s inner archipelago. All studio apartments at Fjällis, except for the ones on the ground floor, have a private balcony. Each single studio apartment is between 24-26 square meters. All the apartments have a private bathroom and a private kitchen area with 2 hot plates and a small fridge.

Kungshamra

This accommodation is only available for exchange students. The housing area was built in the mid sixties and is located between Ulriksdal’s castle and Bergshamra centrum. The buildings are between two and four storeys high and there are 8-12 rooms in each corridor. All the corridors are mixed gender and mixed nationality. The rooms are between 17-20 square meters and they are furnished with a bed, a mattress, a desk, a chair and have a private bathroom with a shower and WC. The kitchen and the common room is shared with the other students living in the same corridor. These corridor rooms are only for single occupancy.

Lappis (Lappkärrsberget)

This accommodation is only available for exchange students. The housing area was built in the late sixties. It consists of apartment buildings on three streets: Amanuensvägen, Forskarbacken and Professorsslingan. The buildings are between four and six storeys high and there are 8-12 rooms in each corridor. All the corridors are mixed gender and mixed nationality. The rooms are between 17-23,5 square meters and they are furnished with a bed, a mattress, a desk, a chair and have a private bathroom with a shower and WC. The kitchen and the common room is shared with the other students living in the same corridor. These corridor rooms are only for single occupancy.
