Once you have decided to study at Stockholm University it is a good idea to start looking for somewhere to live as soon as possible. Stockholm University helps exchange students and students who receive scholarships via Stockholm University Scholarship Scheme with accommodation but all other students need to find housing on their own. Since there is a big shortage of accommodation in Stockholm, it can be a challenge to find accommodation. However there are several things you can do in order to be as prepared as possible. We have compiled a list of housing links and information about housing agencies that could be useful. Please see more information under “Finding housing on your own” below.
