There are two wireless networks at Stockholm University: eduroam (recommended) and SU.

What is eduroam?

eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community.

eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop. Stockholm University is a participating institution which means that visitors from other universities can access our wireless network using their own login credentials and students and staff members from Stockholm University can access wireless networks all over the world using their university accounts .

eduroam also works at a number of libraries in Sweden and thanks to a collaboration between eduroam and The Cloud also in airports, train stations and ports.
