General information about alarms and public security

The University telephone line 08-16 42 00 goes to an external alarm centre 24 hours a day. Ask to speak to University security personnel. If this number fails, use the reserve number, 08-15 42 00.

This telephone line is primarily intended for use after normal operating hours. During normal hours, the personnel at the Section for Safety and Security can be reached via the University switchboard, 08-16 20 00, directly via their individual extensions or via 08-16 22 16.

Use the 08-16 42 00 contact line to:

  • obtain help in urgent situations
  • report urgent events of a public-safety nature, such as thefts, break-ins, disruptive individuals or unauthorized individuals
  • report a fire
  • reach security personnel
  • contact the Section for Safety & Security

Don’t forget that you help yourself, your department and other University personnel by reporting such incidents to the section for Safety and Security.
