A vulnerability has been discovered in the WPA2 encryption for wireless networks that renders communication via WiFi unsecure. The Information Security function urges everyone to check for updates for all their devices (smartphones, tablets, computers and even your router at home) and install these updates as soon as they become available.

All suppliers are working very hard to issue security patches for this vulnerability, but you have to be on the lookout for a fix for your operating system. A device that has not been updated with a fix for this issue should not be connected to any wireless network. Switch off WiFi on all your mobile devices and use a wired connection for computers until your devices have been updated.
