So, what do you work with? What type of support do you provide?

“Student Services is responsible for providing support and service to students before, during and after studies, and for handling all kinds of student matters. The work includes a wide range of activities, from informing high school students about university studies to issuing degree certificates.”

“In addition to providing support to students, we also provide support to departments, faculties and the university administration. We do things like consult on student fees, train student counselors, give advice about teaching support, or help users with our education administrative systems.”

“For issues regarding the working environment and equality, Student Services is a driving force behind the widespread recruitment and participation.”

Where are you located and how do we contact you?

“The Student Department is located in Studenthuset next to the A building of Södra huset, Universitetsvägen 2 B. The department’s various activities are accessed through our function addresses, which you can find on the web.”

Are there any major projects right now?

“In the autumn, during week 44, Stockholm University will change to the new Ladok-system. Ladok is a database that contains information about admission, registration, results and degrees for students of all levels. Now the whole system will be updated. New Ladok will be a web-based student administration system focusing on self-service, which contributes to better and more secure service to our students, teachers and doctoral students.
