During the autumn, the Albano project is working with the affected departments and centres to delineate their current and future needs through surveys and meetings with the project leadership at the Property Management Office (Fastighetsavdelningen). To this end, each department has chosen a point person along with a focus group. The University Senior Management Team’s decision will be made in January 2017.

The discussions include the Centre for Health Equity Studies (CHESS), the Centre for Social Research on Alcohol and Drugs (SoRAD), Stockholm Business School (SBS), the Institute for International Economic Studies (IIES), the Swedish Institute for Social Research (SOFI), the Department of Asian, Middle Eastern and Turkish Studies, the Department of Education, the Department of Social Work, the Department of Language Education, the Department of Economics, the Department of Psychology, the Department of Sociology including the Demography Unit, the Department of Special Education, the Department of Statistics, and the Stress Research Institute within Human science. In Science the discussions include the Department of Physics, the Department of Mathematics, the Department of Meteorology, the Nordic Institute for Theoretical Physics (Nordita), and Stockholm Resilience Centre.

Planning will take place in close collaboration with KTH Royal Institute of Technology, which will share a smaller portion of Albano with SU.
