From autumn 2011 students will be able to choose to have the University Card sent to any address, thus avoiding the need to queue at the IT Services Help Desk. Activation of the University Account is most effectively done via the special web page. Another new feature that will be available from this autumn is the ability to register for courses via the Internet, a function that will be available for those departments that have opted to use the new functionality.

The project to enable registration via the Internet, as well as the ability to have the University Card sent to any address is a collaboration between Student Services, the University Library and IT Services. More information can be obtained from Jennifer Baral (email: jennifer.baral@it.su.se).
