Application Dates

Below you can find information concerning application dates for courses and programmes at bachelor's and master's level. Most of the courses and programmes for international students start in the autumn semester only. Although there are two admission rounds for each semester all international applicants are encouraged to apply in the earlier round.

Final application dates for programmes and courses starting in the autumn semester:

January 15 - All applicants
April 15 – Please note that applicants who need a residence permit are not encouraged to apply in this round as they will not have enough time to apply for and receive a residence permit before the start of the semester. Also note that not all programmes will open up for application in this admission round.

Final application dates for programmes and courses starting in the spring semester:

August 15 – All applicants
October 15 – Please note that applicants who need a residence permit are not encouraged to apply in this round as they will not have enough time to apply for and receive a residence permit before the start of the semester. Also note that not all programmes will open up for application in this admission round.

 

Dates for January admission round to programmes and courses starting autumn semester 2014:

15 January: Admission application deadline at www.universityadmissions.se.

1 February: Deadline for documentation of fee exempt status/receipt of application fee

1 February: Deadline for receipt of supporting academic documents

End of March: First notification of selection results (reply required)

Middle of April: Second Notification of Selection Results (no reply required)
 

Other important dates

October 16 - First day to apply for the autumn semester
June 1 - First day to apply for the spring semester
Late August - Autumn semester begins
Mid January - Spring semester begins
