Students arriving at Stockholm University

 

Orientation Week is designed to assist you - as a new student - to settle into university life at Stockholm University.

Arrival Day will be decided in April/May.

Orientation Day will be Wednesday the 28th of August, 2013.

A week full of activities

The whole week (26th to 30th of August) will be packed with student activities such as a welcome party, guided bus tour in Stockholm, guided tours on campus, movie nights, and so on. 

 The International Office conducts this Orientation Programme for exchange students and master's students at the beginning of each term/semester.

Practical advice

The Orientation Programme for international students is designed to provide you with practical advice on a wide range of subjects, such as student e-mail account, opening a bank account, student health care, Swedish language courses, student union activities and preparing for study.

Meet other students and staff

The program also aims to provide you with the opportunity to meet new people and settle into your life here.
