Accomodation for students

The University is not directly able to offer accommodation to students, except where students are studying at the University as part of an exchange agreement with a partner university. This page contains helpful information and links for those needing to arrange their own accommodation.

Master's students
If you are independent international student (sometimes called "freemovers") you should use the information below to find accomodation in Stockholm. Look out for notices on the University notice boards and make sure to use any contacts you have to find a place to live. Some useful, though websites are listed below. Some of the accomodation sites are in Swedish, which is indicated by this abbreviation: (sv)

Exchange Students
If you are an exchange student (i.e. a student studying at Stockholm University as part of an exchange agreement) you should contact the International Exchange Unit, who will be able to help you. If the University is unable to provide you with accomodation you may find the links about useful.
