Safety
Stockholm, population 1.4 million in the urban area, is considered a safe European capital with safe surroundings and a tolerant atmosphere. We advise students to exercise the same caution as they would in other major cities.
If students do experience or become victims of a crime, we urge them to contact police. Students are welcome to contact university staff for advise and support.
In case om emergency call 112 and ask for the police, fire brigade or ambulance.
