Orientation week
Next Orientation Week for international students takes place on Monday the 20th of January until Friday the 24th of January 2014.
Orientation Week is designed to assist you - as a new student - to settle into university life at Stockholm University.
Arrival Day for students who received accommodation via the Housing Office will be decided during the autumn semester.
Orientation Day will be Monday the 20th of January, 2014.
A week full of activities
The whole week (20th to 24th of January) will be packed with student activities such as a welcome party, guided bus tour in Stockholm, guided tours on campus and so on.
The International Office conducts this Orientation Programme for exchange students and master's students at the beginning of each term/semester toghether with the Stockholm University Student Union.
Practical advice
The Orientation Programme for international students is designed to provide you with practical advice on a wide range of subjects, such as student e-mail account, opening a bank account, student health care, Swedish language courses, student union activities and preparing for study.
Meet other students and staff
The program also aims to provide you with the opportunity to meet new people and settle into your life here.
