Idun

Idun is located in the area called Vasastaden in the city center. Idun was built in 1968 and is owned by SSSB. The building has 7 floors and used to have 73 studio apartments but during the last year there has been an additonal add on to the building which has resultet in 84 new studio apartments. Each studio apartment is 20 square meters. They all have a private bathroom and a private kitchenette. On the ground floor there are letterboxes and a laundry room with washers and dryers. These studio apartments are for double occupancy (2 students of the same gender). Please be aware that this is a studio apartment which means that the apartment is only one room (so you will not have your own room).

Fjällräven

All studio apartments except for the ones on the ground floor have a private balcony. Each single studio apartment is between 24-26 square meters. They all have a private bathroom and a private kitchen area with 2 hot plates and a small fridge. On the ground floor there are letterboxes, a laundry room with washers and dryers, and a communal sauna. These studio apartments are for single occupancy only.

Kurland

Kurland is a newly required accommodation. It is located in the area called Norrmalm in the city center. Kurland is an old building with historic charm that has been converted into studenthousing. It has 18 corridor rooms spread out over 3 floors. On each floor there are 6 corridor rooms with 2 shared shower rooms with toilet and one big shared kitchen. The corridor rooms are between 12-15 square meters. On the ground floor there are postboxes. There is also a laundry room and a garbage room.

Kista Alléväg

Kista Alléväg 38-48 is situated in Kista. You will find the 96 apartments (studios) in eight houses. This semester there are mostly going to be other exchange students from other countries, just like you, so we hope that you all get a sense of community and settle in real good. All the studios are fully furnished with your own shower, WC and a kitchenette. There is a big laundry room on the housing area with four washing machines and dryers. Animals are not allowed in the student rooms

Kungshamra

The housing area was built in the mid sixties and is located between Ulriksdal’s castle and Bergshamra centrum. In Bergshamra centrum there are some shops and a supermarket. The rooms are single rooms organized in corridors where Swedish and international students share a kitchen and a living room. All single rooms are equipped with shower and WC and are fully furnished. Children and animals are not allowed.

Lappkärrsberget (Lappis)

The housing area was built in the late sixties and is called “Lappis” for short. It consists of apartment buildings on three streets: Amanuensvägen, Forskarbacken and Professorsslingan. It is located in a green environment in the outskirts of Stockholm city, very close to the University. The buildings are between four and six storeys tall and there are 10-12 rooms in each corridor, all fully furnished and with your own shower and WC. The residents, both from Sweden and other countries, share a kitchen and a living room. There are laundry rooms on the housing area. Children or animals are not allowed in the student rooms.
