Guest researchers
I meet today many of our foreign guest researchers at the Faculty Club. Guest researchers come, of course, continuously to the University but we arrange a welcome gathering from time to time.
Guest researchers are key players in the internationalisation of our research. They are also ambassadors for Stockholm University when they return to their home university. A practical problem in this context is accommodation for guest researchers. We are working with the our landlord Akademiska Hus on the issue and hope to provide more accommodation for visiting researchers within the University campus. I offer, of course, all visiting researchers a warm welcome to Stockholm University.
