Imaging facility
IFSU is a Core Facility for light- and electron-microscopy at Stockholm University established in 2009. The facility offers services to users of advanced imaging at Stockholm University as well as other institutions. We provide hands-on training and advice for experimental set ups and guide users to the most suitable instrument for their specific project.
The following instruments are available at IFSU:
• Confocal microscopes; ZEISS LSM 780, ZEISS LSM 510 META, ZEISS LSM 510
• Workstation with software (ZEN black 2011) for image processing
• Wide field Fluorescence microscope; Zeiss CELL OBSERVER equipped for live cell imaging and microinjection
• Workstation with software for image processing including deconvolution
• Inverted fluorescence microscope Leica DM IRB
• Transmission electron microscope,TECNAI G2 Spirit Bio TWIN (FEI Company), 120 kV
