The Confocal Microscopes

Saving of data: go to the second hard disc (you are not allowed to save anything on the C disc) and under the folder USER make your own folder labeled with your name (first name and family name). Permanent storage of files is not allowed on the microscope computers and maximum space per user allocated is 1GB per person. At the LSM 510 and LSM 510 Meta-systems; save your files to a CD or USB memory stick and delete old files from the computers. For the LSM 780 microscope, transfer your files to the workstation in the small room adjacent to the instrument via a shortcut on the desktop, and then save to USB at the work station.
