Your stay

• Research/fieldwork: 100 SEK/day and 100 SEK/night per person.
  (Not for students who are doing their thesis at Swedish Universities, and use the fieldstation for no more than 3 months. PhD students can apply for Askö grants to get economical support for their stay and use of equipment.)
• University courses and marine meetings/conferences: 100 SEK/day and 100 SEK/night per person.

Pre-booked transport from Uttervik to Askö and back is included, as well as the use of the fieldstations’ resources (not vessels).

• External meetings: 200 SEK/day and 150 SEK/night per person. Pre-booked transport from Uttervik to Askö and back is included.

• External courses: Upon agreement.

What’s included?

• Transports to and from Askö on the ordinary routes.
• Bed in dormitories, bedsheets are not included.
• Resources:
  • kitchen, lecture hall with Power-Point projector, library, sauna and other common areas.
  • desks, computer equipment connected to the internet.
  • laboratories with brackish sea water supply.
  • fieldequipment.
  • small boats.

Transports to and from Uttervik

We do not charge for transportation on the regular tours (morning, midday and afternoon). Extra tours are only possible if there is time.

• Extra run, researchers, 700 SEK.
• Extra run, external, 1000 SEK.

Use of equipment

Vessels/boats:

• Aurelia 500 SEK/h.
• Limanda, Sprattus and Larus 400 SEK/h.
• Perca 250 SEK/h.
• Trutta – for use during longer periods, after agreement.

The pricelist applies on periods of normal work-hours. Every started hour is charged for as a whole hour. Other deals can be made upon agreement.

Climate room and Experiment hall:

Charge 50 SEK/day/project or experimentsetting.

Assistance:

• Help with fieldwork and sampling, transport by four-wheeler, service and buildingwork, can be arranged upon agreement, and will be charged 200 SEK/h.
• Collection of biological material such as fish, mussels, sediments or water can also be made after pre-arrangements.

Special equipment:

Motordriven boat with video-equipment for underwater recordning. Price after agreement.
