Spring term 2015



The Korean studies section at Stockholm University offers a guest lecture series on a variety of subjects in Korean studies and related fields. All guest lectures are open to the public.

In this spring term of 2015 lectures will be given by scholars from universities in Italy, France, Russia and the Netherlands. The lectures are supported by two external institutions.



1.    EPEL Lectures


For the first time in its history, the Korean studies section at Stockholm University takes part in the European Program for the Exchange of Lecturers (EPEL) which is sponsored by the Korea Foundation and organized by the Association for Korean Studies in Europe (AKSE). Lectures sponsored by this program are hold as an integral part of the curriculum of the institution where they are presented. At Stockholm University, the EPEL lectures are integrated in the courses Religions in East Asia”, ”Korean literature and film” and “Political leadership on the Korean peninsula” respectively.
