Bert Bolin Climate Lecture 2026 by Dr. Valérie Masson-Delmotte
We are excited to announce that the Bert Bolin Climate Lecturer for 2026 is Dr. Valérie Masson-Delmotte, Research Director at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission, Climate and Environment Sciences Laboratory (LSCE). Dr. Masson-Delmotte will share her experience as a paleoclimatologist and the co-chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change during the Sixth Assessment Cycle (IPCC AR6), and the critical role of science diplomacy.

About the Bolin Centre
The Bolin Centre for Climate Research is named in honour of Professor Bert Bolin, and is a collaboration between Stockholm University, KTH, and SMHI.
