PhD courses

For PhD students in the money/finance area we have identified Core courses and Elective courses. The courses are given every year, or in some cases every second year. In addition, there will be occasionally occurring courses, including mini-courses, many of which will be offered by visiting CeMoF researchers.

To be awarded a certificate from CeMoF, students have to complete 22,5 credits where the core course Monetary Economics is mandatory for all as well as at least one of the other core courses. The remaining credits can be attained by completing any of the core or elective courses listed below. Another requirement is that at least one chapter in a student's doctoral thesis covers the money and finance area.

We further recommend students from SBS to take the PhD course Macroeconomics II as background.
