Neurolinguistics in Sweden, NLS2026
Neurolinguistics in Sweden (NLS) is happy to announce its second conference on 11–12 June 2026 at Stockholm University. Neurolinguistics in Sweden is a network of researchers investigating language in the brain. The aim of the network is to promote research within the broad field of neurolinguistics in Sweden and neighbouring countries.

Location and attendance
The 2026 conference will take place at Stockholm University, Campus Frescati, in Stockholm, Sweden. There will be no attendance fee.

Call for abstracts

Submissions
The organizing committee invites researchers to submit an abstract for presentation at Neurolinguistics in Sweden 2026. It is possible to specify a preference for either a talk or poster presentation but final decisions will be made by the organizing committee. The conference language is English and all presentations are to be made in English.
The field of neurolinguistics
Submissions should be within the field of neurolinguistics. Contributions from related fields such as psycholinguistics, cognitive neuroscience, phonetics, audiology and language pathology are also welcome if the overall scope is the cognitive neuroscience of language.
OpenReview, double blind submissions and anonymized documents
We use OpenReview for abstract submission and review.
- Submissions will be double blind: reviewers cannot see author names when conducting reviews, and authors cannot see reviewer names.
 - Please make sure that documents are anonymized before uploading them.
 
Abstract deadline 6 February
- Abstracts are to be submitted no later than 6 February 2026 11.59 pm (CET).
 - Submissions are expected to include (preliminary) results and will be reviewed based on their novelty, substance and relevance for the conference.
