New book: Making Universities Matter

In an era of rapid change and increasing societal demands, the role of universities as knowledge producers and catalysts for change has come under scrutiny. This open access book offers a fresh perspective on the significance of universities in society, shedding light on how their knowledge can truly matter beyond academia.

Editors are Linus Salö, Professor at the Center for Research on Bilingualism at the Department of Swedish Language and Multilingualism, Pauline Mattsson, Senior Lecturer at Lund University, and Eugenia Perez Vico, Senior Lecturer at Halmstad University.

Authors from a handful of Swedish universities contribute with their own or co-authored chapters. Among others, Linnea Hanell, researcher at the Department of Swedish Language and Multilingualism, participates.
