On what information do you base your course revisions and development? In many higher education institutions it is required to offer students opportunities to evaluate the courses they attend. But, what do we do with this information?

This workshop is useful for professors, lecturers, and course leaders/coordinators. The workshop could also be interesting for administrators who are involved in evaluation of courses.

 

About the workshop

In this workshop we focus on how to use information from regular course evaluations to institute revisions and development of teaching. We will also explore other ways to collect information from students and their experiences of the teaching.

You will learn about different views on and purposes with evaluation, and how to construct questions for additional data collection to understand more about how your teaching influence students’ learning. We will discuss how this detailed information can help further improvements and revisions of the courses.
