Welcome to a workshop on teaching and learning with Centre for the Advancement of University Teaching (CeUL).

Target group: To University teachers who have previously taken part in the workshop on Plagiarism / Definitions or other who would like to work on case studies.

About the workshop

This second workshop on the topic of plagiarism and source critisism for university teachers gives you the opportunity to work on real case studies to see how to detect plagiarism attitudes at an early stage and how to prevent most of these cases from happening in the future.

We analyze concrete examples of plagiarism and then discuss on the best pedagogical tools in order to minimize such problems in specific courses. We will focus on the design of some exams that can be problematic for students and give some concrete tips to improve source criticism.
