Welcome to a workshop on teaching and learning with Centre for the Advancement of University Teaching (CeUL).

This workshop is aimed for teachers and assistants at Stockholm University.

About the workshop

The focus of this workshop is on how your presentations are received and understood and on how you can develop further as a speaker. Participants will make a presentation that takes no more than 10 minutes and each participant will provide constructive feedback on the presentations made by the other participants. You will  have the opportunity to become more aware of your own strengths as a speaker and more confident about working on the aspects that leave room for improvement. You will be provided with a checklist to use both when you prepare your presentation and when you give feedback.

During the workshop we will

In the setting of a small group the participants will improve how they get their message across to students and colleagues and become more confident about how they can develop their presentation skills.

To participate in the workshop you will need: A computer with the Zoom e-meeting service installed (see guide on how to install an log into Zoom) and a headset with microphone.

Preparations In advance each participant is required to prepare a presentation that takes no more than 10 minutes to give.
