Welcome to a workshop on teaching and learning with Centre for the Advancement of University Teaching (CeUL).
This workshop is aimed for teachers at Stockholm University.
About the workshop
Classroom assessment techniques (CATs) are simple tools that can be used to gather information about students’ learning and/or perception of teaching during a teaching session (i.e. lecture, seminar or lab). These tools are applicable in a wide range of settings and disciplines, from lectures with large student groups to seminars with a few students.
During the workshop we will:
- Explore and discuss various classroom assessment techniques
- Identify opportunities for using classroom assessment techniques in your own teaching
- Design classroom assessment techniques to use in your own teaching
