The Arrhenius Lab celebrated its 50th birthday!

For 50 years, outstanding research and teaching has taken place in the Arrhenius Laboratory. It is named after the first ever Swedish Nobel laurate, Svante Arrhenius, professor of physics at Stockholms högskola (now Stockholm University). This was properly celebrated on Friday November 10th!

More than 400 people came to visit the Arrhenius lab and join the activites offered by our departments. From poster sessions to lab tours to grand reunions of friends and collegues.

Thanks to everyone involved, this was truly a spectacular event showing both history and future of our beloved lab.
