Current research

Exile studies, particularly on Nelly Sachs. Editing an anthology on exile literature (with Axel Englund). The language of sighs in Erik Johan Stagnelius. The poetics of space in Gunnar Björling and its relation to the tradition of the idyll. The history of the aesthetic concept “canon” and its possible uses today.
