Tania Al Saadi visits Sapienza University of Rome for research and teaching
Tania Al Saadi, Senior Lecturer in Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures at Stockholm University, recently completed a research stay at Sapienza University of Rome with support from a joint research grant.
Together with Associate Professor Ada Barbaro, Tania Al Saadi received a research grant from Sapienza University of Rome to carry out a one-month research stay.
In addition to her research activities, she held two seminars – one for Master’s students and one for PhD candidates at the Department of Oriental Studies. The doctoral seminar focused on the newly published anthology Eating Words: Food in Modern Arabic Literature, edited by Tania Al Saadi. The seminar was titled Food in Modern Arabic Literature: Project, Methodology, Results.
Tania Al Saadi is Associate Professor in Middle Eastern languages and Cultures at Stockholm University.
Tania Al Saadi held two seminars at Sapienza University of Rome in May.
