Section for Early Childhood Education (FUFF)

Early childhood education is a trans-disciplinary field that concerns the conditions for young children’s learning and meaning making, based on children’s explorations of a variety of subject-contents through different “languages” and modalities. In this process children’s play, as well as aesthetical and ethical relationships, is seen as having a central role.

Early childhood education also focuses on both pedagogical and didactical matters relating to the preschool teacher profession providing tools to make visible, as well as to assess and develop, learning processes.
