The theme of the lecture is ‘’Everything is violence! On the modern concept of violence’.

Mirey Gorgis is a researcher in rhetoric at the Department of Literature and Rhetoric, Uppsala University. Gorgis received her PhD in 2022 with a thesis on the conceptual understanding of violence and has since then researched and taught political rhetoric, propaganda and advocacy.
