Policing Gang Desistance

A new research project at the Department of Criminology aims to examine how the police can facilitate pathways to desistance from criminal gangs. Associate professor and lecturer Anita Heber, from the Department of Criminology at Stockholm University, leads the project in collaboration with Dr. Anders Stenström at Malmö University.
The project is funded by The Swedish Research Council.
